Why are we waiting …

( Projects )

Ho hum.  Waiting for a job to finish running.  I love doing things that I’m not supposed to as part of my job.  It’s great fun.  Really.
Incidentally, Windows Live Writer is actually really cool.  Surprisingly so - it even imported all my categories automatically.  And, more importantly, it speaks WordPress.  Two thumbs up from me.

Trials, tribulations, and triumphs

( General and Podcasts and Projects )

Shot this weekend, during a barbecue:

2238
The thing I like the most about the shot is the way the table apparently disappears into the distance.  There’s actually a brick wall right behind it, but thanks to the constrast, you can’t even see it. That and the clarity in the table.  Not bad for a now archaic […]

Been busy. No time to write.

( General and Projects )

Felt guilty for not updating this for so long, thought I’d sit down and write something.  Everything’s been far too busy - this year’s really picked up the pace.  Since writing last, we’ve:

Write up some of the stuff I’ve been thinking about.
Maybe bottle the bitter and get the sars bubbling.  If it finishes brewing, which […]

It’s been hot. Damn hot.

( General and Projects )

43 degrees ain’t fun.  So, we sat around in the house and did nothing for pretty much the whole weekend.  Very boring.  Tried sitting in the hammock on the weekend - not a great idea.  Fell asleep, but I think that may have been a defensive reaction to the heat.  Now I know what a […]

All good!

( Projects )

1010 and falling!  And, even better, it still tastes like beer!  No vinegar or apparent mould yet.  Looks like I’ll be bottling on Saturday.  Next on the schedule is a bitter, followed by a cider and possibly a stout.  And then, a rest until I can set up a second fermenter to rack it prior […]

New year, new intent

I’ve dropped the galllery, which means a number of the images I used in my first post about a year ago won’t work any more. Nothing too exciting there - I know what they were, and I doubt anyone else is going to go back that far to look at them. I’ve added […]
